Love your new look! And hey, now is the perfect time to play with color, too! (Semi- permanent, or it will grow out really quick if you don't like it - advantage of short hair.) I went fuschia in my early twenties (40 years ago) and thought I'd do it again when I turned 50 - but now I have asthma, and opening the hair dye changed my mind REALLY fast. Bummer. Since you're adventuresome, maybe you could do it for me?

Your hair looks great. I went totally bald from chemo nine years ago and absolutely loved it. So carefree, and I could accessorize however I wanted with scarves, caps, or hats. Happy Anniversary, and don’t worry, you are not your mother.
Once a decade I cut my hair short (not quite that short but nearly) can never get it like my stylist does so grow it out and vow never to do it again. Did this last year so 9 yrs till I try it again 😅

I have to remind myself not to be eating or drinking anything because more than once I almost choked because of laughter!!
I think you both look adorable. I have had long hair essentially my entire life. I occasionally consider going wicked short just because. I’m a bit older than you, and my hair seems to grow very slowly - so if I go short and hate it, I will hate it for a long time. I admire your courage!
