Every romance author I know is looking at the Coldplay “kiss cam” situation and wishing they’d used that as a plot point in a book LOL. I’m near Boston, so it’s everywhere in the news and on social media here.
Let’s focus on some other romances, though, shall we? July has some great discounted books, and hopefully you’ve read Maliciously Obedient (on sale for 0.99), and Suspiciously Obedient, so move on to Book 3 in the series:
Torn between two men, Lydia returns to her parents' campground in Maine defeated and overwhelmed. She can't deny her attraction to the affable, anything-goes Jeremy.
But it's Michael Bournham who haunts her dreams.
When it turns out Mike's been hiding in plain sight, she realizes that for some people, rules are made to be broken.
For her, though, it's time to make her own rules.
Rules that mean having it all.
Including both Jeremy and Mike.
A Harmless Little Game is on sale for 0.99 this month, and you learned about A Harmless Little Ruse in my earlier newsletter, so here’s the final book in that trilogy:
Turns out there was a second video from that awful night four years ago. Mine wasn’t the only tape.
Too bad mine wasn’t the worst.
Drew can’t protect me no matter how hard he tries, but the roles are flipped now. I have to help him, but I’m not wired that way. Not anymore. That one night changed me more than anyone knows.
More than anyone could predict.
Three men think they’re above the law. They’re right.
But I’m willing to go beneath the law to make sure they never harm anyone else. Their threats don’t scare me.
When you have nothing left to lose because someone took it all away, you create the most dangerous creature imaginable.
Me.
Game over.

And if you love shifter romance, grab Owl Be Bear For You (on sale for 0.99), then You Shook Me Howl Night Long, and move on to the third book in the Camp Shifter series:
He lurks in shadows and mystery at Camp Shifter, coming out only during DarkNight, the wild, bacchanalian free-for-all where anything goes.
Anything.
No one has seen him in the daylight, no one knows where he lives, no one knows his name–and the shifter nicknamed DarkLover by women, DarkDude by men, will do anything to keep it that way.
Andie Cumbington has been waiting her whole life for The Letter. One of the few shifters who is ecstatic about her newfound status, the chestnut-haired ballerina bear shifter arrives for her month at Camp Shifter with unbridled excitement. On her first DarkNight, she finds wild passion and–to her surprise–so much more, with a stranger who touches her heart as much as he lights up her body.
And then he’s gone, back into the shadows, hidden.
Exactly where he wants to be.
Craving his touch with an insatiable desire, Andie can’t let go. She always wanted the roll in the hay, but she never imagined the passion would be so intense.
Fate drives her to find love.
Then a simple errand turns into mortal danger for Andie, and an impossible choice as DarkLover must overcome his biggest fear in order to save the woman he loves.
But will it be too late?
Add the audio, narrated by Heather Costa and Jeffrey Kafer.

Clark’s FAVORITE book series is Gretchen Galway’s mystery series. He loves loves loves reading these books, and hopes you’ll love them, too! He got to read an early copy of Dead Witch in the Library and said it’s the best book in the series - high praise!
