It's still July, right?

We're gonna just pretend

I am popping my head up after a couple of weeks of lazing around the pool and…

Haha. Just kidding.

Here’s a bullet point list of what’s been going on here:

• Finalized audiobook files for One Night (Hand) Stand, my new romantic comedy coming sometime in late 2024/early 2025 (release date TBD). Shane East and Samantha Brentmoor did a phenomenal job.

• Completed the COVER for One Night (Hand) Stand!

• Released Never Fall for the Bride’s Father in audiobook - keep scrolling for more on that.

• Wrote more of I Will Earn You - yes, finally, the newest Meli Raine trilogy is coming to an end!

• Dealt with more medical complexity for my 14 year old, which has become its own full-time job. HE is lovely. Dealing with “the system” is not.

• I got to visit the wonderful Blair Babylon in person.

• Spent time with family on the other coast (they came here).

• Clark and I celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary. We kept our hair this year.

Note: every other picture I took had Clark looking like something out of the 1800s, staring somberly at the camera, even with me on his lap! So you get this.

There’s more (like helping distribute thousands of free COVID tests to nonprofit organizations around the states, working in food rescue and distributing food from farms and grocery stores, celebrating Massachusetts offering 100% free community college to all residents now [great for some friends of ours], harvesting SO MANY blackberries coming in on our land, changing from one health insurance to another [so fun… not], and getting ready for big birthdays in August), but here’s hoping you’ve had a wonderful July, because IT IS NOT AUGUST NO NO NO NO NO.
