Clark and I took some much-needed time away, together. We reconnected, stayed at a lovely artist’s cottage on a tiny, frozen lake, went to a movie (“All We Imagine As Light” - phenomenal) where masks are still required (a big deal for immunocompromised people - thank you, Amherst Cinema!), drank a wonderful breve cortado ( or 4…) at Amherst Coffee, had a fantastic grilled salad at Bueno y Sano, grabbed coffee and groceries at Cushman Market & Cafe (we lived right down the street in Amherst when it opened in the mid-2000s!), went shopping and hiking and ate yummy food and visited with friends.
And, apparently, I wrote a “yoga instructor” book.
I was interviewed by a reporter for a national newspaper (stay tuned for details on that soon cuz it’s a doozy), and she asked about my “yoga instructor” book. A friend asked about reading my “yoga instructor” book.
Case isn’t a yoga instructor - he’s just filling in for a pregnant teacher in the beginning of the book - so that description threw me off a bit. Hearing it twice made me realize view the world differently from other people (a healthy thing!) and also, that I need to craft my “back cover copy” (book descriptions) a bit more carefully.
It also gave me insight into how we all experience what we read in a wholly different way, which made me ruminate. Still intellecting. That concept needs lots of mental marination. We’re all so unique, which makes people endlessly fascinating to me.
I hope by now you’ve read Sarah and Case’s book, and you’ve preordered the next in the series, One Night (Band) Stand, now available for preorder on all major book retailers.
And if you haven’t, get One Night (Hand) Stand now. The price goes up soon, so grab it:

I loved this story. Can't wait for the next.
It is interesting how different people perceive different things from the same information. It’s what makes the world go around xx
That is pretty funny. I need to pick up a copy to read. Does it matter to you what platform? I have Kobo and Amazon. Which ever platform helps you the most is where I will grab it. I can't wait.
